Backstage, Edge says he wishes he could say making Reigns tap out like a bitch just now would make it easier this Sunday but it won’t. Seth Rollins is laughing in the background. Rollins says Edge can’t beat Reigns but he hopes he does. Rollins is going to win MITB and he’s going to finish what he started 7 years ago when he had his boot on Edge’s neck and didn’t pull the trigger.
Sami Zayn walks out on the stage. Zayn complains about being purposely excluded from MITB. For a year Zayn has been the victim of a conspiracy. Zayn asks the crowd to stand up and let their voices be heard. Zayn asks them to chant “Justice for Sami” The crowd isn’t having it. Zayn says he isn’t going to let this show go on for one more minute if he isn’t handed the MITB briefcase. Finn Bálor’s music hits. Zayn is shocked. Bálor joins Zayn in the ring. Zayn attacks Bálor. Bálor drops Zayn with the final cut. Woo dropkick by Bálor. Bálor crushes Zayn with the Coup de Grâce.
Shotzi and Nox vs. Natalya and Tamina
Liv Morgan and Zelina Vega are at the commentary desk. Tamina boots Shotzi in the face as soon as the bell rings. Natalya tags in and almost gets pinned via roll up by Shotzi. Tamina and Natalya take turns working over Shotzi. Shotzi manages to tag in Nox, who clears the ring. Nox crushes Natalya with a senton in the corner. Nox lands the Shiniest Wizard. Vega and Morgan get into a fight outside the ring. In the confusion Nox pins Natalya.
Winners- Shotzi and Nox
After the match, Natalya whips Vega into a Superkick by Tamina. Tamina charges at Morgan, but Morgan side steps. Tamina crashes into the ring steps. Morgan takes out Natalya. Morgan points at the MITB briefcase hanging above the ring.
