Chris Jericho Names The Hart Brothers As Dream Opponents, Wishes He Worked With The Undertaker More

Over 2700 matches into his career, Chris Jericho has faced countless opponents. From main-eventing WrestleMania X8 with Triple H to making history with Kenny Omega in the final match at All Elite Wrestling’s debut show, Double or Nothing 2019, he has practically done it all. Still, like any other wrestler, Jericho still has some dream matches that will never become a reality.

During an appearance on Gresh & Keefe,  where he promoted his new book, The Complete List of Jericho, the former AEW World Champion explained why he wishes he got to face Bret and/or Owen Hart. He stated that these potential clashes could have produced “classic feuds.”

“I think the Hart brothers, for sure,” said Jericho. “Bret Hart or Owen Hart, both of those guys, I never got to wrestle. Owen passed away before I got into WWE, and I wasn’t at the level to wrestle Bret before he got injured, before his career was done. But I think with our backgrounds and him kinda growing up in the same area and training the same way, those would have been a couple really classic feuds.”

Jericho also named The Undertaker as someone he wanted to work with more. Though they both starred in WWE at various points, and their careers overlapped for several years, Jericho didn’t get to face “The Phenom” very much. But when he did share the ring with “The Deadman”, he was pleased with the results.

“And the other one is Undertaker. I worked with him a few times and we always had great matches, but we just never had a lot of them.”
