Calgary Talent Ava Lawless Is A Huge Fan Of WWE’s Cesaro, Praises His Intensity

WWE’s Cesaro has proven himself to be one of the best wrestlers in the world, especially in the mind of Calgary indie talent, Ava Lawless.

Recently appearing on the A Wrestling Gal podcast, Lawless explained why WWE’s “Swiss Superman” captivated her attention.

“I think when he first came around and I saw some of his ROH stuff, he just had like this intensity to him that I really favor in the wrestlers I watch, and I think in my own work. When something looks like it hurts I’m like ‘it’s good’. I remember his run with the United States belt, he was the bad guy, and he said all these really funny things about America,” she explained, “I just found him really funny, and just–I don’t know, his move set, the European uppercuts and whatnot, I was like ‘yeah, this guy is really great’ and ever since I saw him like the first time, I kind of put my wagon to his horse, you know. That is something I think I’ll ride with forever. I’m a huge fan.”

Lawless went on to discuss the Cesaro Swing, playfully challenging the former United States Champion to a match sometime.

Cesaro recently broke his in-ring WWE record of swings, with twenty-three given to Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania 37, which saw Cesaro emerge victorious.
