Moose isn’t going anywhere, as he has reportedly re-signed with IMPACT Wrestling.
Last month, The Wrestling Observer reported that Moose has signed a new deal with the promotion, and Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has released more information about the deal. He states that the deal will keep Moose in IMPACT Wrestling until the summer of 2023.
“Fightful has learned from other companies that there was interest in bringing Moose in, but as of now we’re able to confirm if those led to any serious talks, wrote Ross Sapp. “The new contract is for two years, and will carry Moose into the Summer of 2023.
“The contract is said to have been a significant improvement over his last deal, though we don’t have details on the financial terms. We’re told by the IMPACT side of things that Moose figures in to their plans in a major way.”
Moose previously denied the news of his new contract; in a tweet, he quickly shot down the initial report.
A former IMPACT Grand Champion, Moose memorably revived the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. He unsuccessfully challenged Kenny Omega for the IMPACT World Championship at the promotion’s Against All Odds event. Moose is scheduled to face Chris Sabin at IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary next month.
