Marty Jannetty Posts Health Update; Says My Ankles Are Fixed And ‘The Old MJ No Longer Exists’

WWE legend Marty Jannetty is ready to introduce everyone to the “new MJ.”

In a new Facebook post, Marty Jannetty posted a health update and explained that his ankles, which had plagued him in recent years, are “fixed,” and he’s in good spirits.

The post reads as follows:

“I would like to thank the people at WWE for the positives on me lately (such as this article & HBK Biography)..it will certainly help me clean up the mess I’ve made for the past 15 years trying to self medicate for pain and at times deep dark depression that I didn’t tell even my brother about..but ankles are fixed..and the old MJ no longer exists..now older, much wiser and more determined than ever, you may not believe this NEW MJ is the same person as the last one!”

Marty Jannetty had ankle surgery last December and noted at the time that he’d been using a wheelchair and a cane to get around until he was healed up, explaining now that he has since healed from the procedure.

In the post, Jannetty also noted that he gained some recent buzz (in a more positive way) after his recent appearance on A&E’s “Biography: Shawn Michaels.”

Last year, Jannetty gained some attention for numerous incidents including his claim that he made a man “disappear” in an act of self-defense as a teenager, as well as his hospitalization related to an alleged attack outside of a New York City airport. The former was investigated by the police, and Jannetty later said the story was all part of an elaborate wrestling storyline.
