Triple H On Future All Women’s Pay-Per-View: Equality Isn’t About Having Your Own Show

It doesn’t appear as if Triple H is in a rush to hold another all women’s pay-per-view.

WWE‘s Executive Vice President held a media call ahead of this Sunday’s NXT TakeOver: In Your House event and Inside The Rope’s Gary Cassidy pondered the question if we’ll see any women from NXT appear in other promotions such as the NWA and if the company has any plans on producing another all women’s event in the future.

“Haven’t we already done one [laughs]? It’s a funny thing to me, so equality is equality. Equality is not ‘oh, I want my own show’, equality is not ‘we have to have our own program’, if I told you that I was making an all men’s program and I didn’t want women on it, it’d be criticized. I’m not saying that it’s right or wrong but I think it’s funny when people say they want the best in the world regardless of contractual status. Well, I’m sorry, from a business person’s standpoint, why do we have a contractual status? It doesn’t make any sense to me, if you want to wrestle the best women in the world, come to WWE, that’s where they are.

“If you want to go elsewhere and say that they are, that’s an opinion and you can but it is what it is. I’m all for it, I was one of the biggest drivers of it and will we do another all women’s event down the line? Possibly, but it’s not the must have in the moment, I think we do an amazing job at displaying our female athletes and is it perfect? No. Will it always be in flux? Yes, but I think we do a good job and in my opinion, again, my opinion, the best female performers in the world are in WWE and if they’re not, they want to be.”
