As former WWE Champions, Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston are both desperate to get back in the title picture. During this week’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, McIntyre took down Kingston to earn another title shot against Bobby Lashley. “The Scottish Warrior” will challenge “The All Mighty” at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.

During a match with huge stakes on the line, McIntyre wasted little time in establishing his dominance. He sent Kingston into the corner and began bludgeoning him with strikes, but eventually Kingston reversed a slam and landed a senton over the ropes and down onto McIntyre. As the match went on, McIntyre continued to show his strength, but Kingston wouldn’t stay down. He took everything McIntyre threw at him, including a spinning Future Shock that looked to end things the bout.
As the match began to wind down, Kingston countered a Claymore and dropped McIntyre with the Trouble in Paradise. But “The Scottish Warrior” grabbed the ropes, so the match continued. In the end, McIntyre countered a splash attempt from Kingston with a brutal Claymore, ending the match and giving McIntyre the right to challenge Lashley for the WWE Championship.

After the bell, Kingston extended his hand to McIntyre, and the two shook hands while Lashley came to the stage to stare at his future opponent.
