The Miz Returns To RAW, Nikki Cross Outlasts Charlotte Flair

The Miz Returns To RAW

This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW opened with the return of The Miz, as he hosted a special episode of Miz TV. Monday marked his first appearance since he was eaten by zombies at WrestleMania Backlash, For this special episode of Miz TV, he had some very special guests lined up. First, Charlotte Flair came to the ring, and she boasted about her upcoming WWE RAW Women’s Championship match against Rhea Ripley at Hell in a Cell. While she seemed confident, Ripley quickly made her way out to the ring and countered by saying that she would easily take Flair down at the pay-per-view.

However, while the two went back and forth, Nikki Cross joined the fray. She said that since she technically beat Ripley last week in a Beat the Clock Challenge match, she should get a shot at Flair in the same way. Cross argued that if she wins that bout, she should get the right to challenge the champion after Hell in a Cell. Flair seemed unfazed by the challenge and accepted,; in fact, she taunted that she could beat Cross in a minute or less.

Nikki Cross Outlasts Charlotte Flair

With both Cross and Flair in the ring, the 2:00 Beat the Clock Challenge Match began, and in a shocking display, Cross once again defied the odds. Flair wasted most of the two minutes by arguing with Ripley, and she didn’t leave herself enough time to put Cross down. Near the end of the bout, Cross hit a nasty tornado DDT on Flair, and with the clock winding down, “The Queen” caught Cross in a toehold, but she wasn’t able to finish her off. As a result, Cross earned the technical win and, subsequently, the chance to challenge the RAW Women’s Champion after Hell in a Cell.
