WWE Disbanded New Talent Management Division After Just Five Weeks

Amy Tunick was the WWE Senior Vice President of a new talent management group for only a little longer than Miz’s second WWE Championship reign before the company decided to change course.

According to Tunick’s LinkedIn profile, the former Operations & Activation VP of WarnerMedia was hired to recruit members for a new talent management division, but that was quickly broken up last month. Tunick’s tenure at WWE was only listed as two months and the description of her duties were as follows:

“I was hired by WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) to build and lead a new talent management division focused on strategic brand-building and monetizing IP for 300+ WWE Superstars. Unexpectedly, the company made a decision to change course and disbanded the new team after just 5 weeks.”

No official word to as if the former Senior Director of Talent Relations Mark Carrano’s firing, which did occur in late April, had any connection to Tunick’s new team getting broken up. Carrano was let go after it was revealed he had the recently released Mickie James’ personal items sent to her home in a garbage bag.
