SoCal Uncensored (SCU) is no more.
The team of Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian enjoyed a lot of success throughout its journey across the professional wrestling landscape, but a loss to the Young Bucks this week on AEW Dynamite has forced the duo to break up.
On the newest episode of Wrestling With The Week, Scorpio Sky, the third member of the popular group, shared his thoughts on the end of the pairing. He also explained why, because he is friends with all four men who competed in the bout, he didn’t participate in the match in any way.
“This was a personal one for me,” said Sky. “I sat in the dressing room by myself, I watched this match. You know, a lot of people wanted to see me get involved in some way, shape or form, but I wasn’t gonna do that. The Young Bucks are my friends, SCU are obviously very close, Frankie [Kazarian] and Chris [Daniels], and we are very close, we’ve had a great run. I wanted to let them figure it all out.
“But I have to say, the Young Bucks pulled it out, they did what they had to do. But Frankie And Chris looked phenomenal, they looked better than ever. It’s a little bit crazy for me to think that they’re done, it’s over. This tag team that has been together for 10 or 15 years is done for good. The Addiction’s gone, SCU is gone. Bad Influence is gone.”
Sky also expressed his gratitutude to Kazarian and Daniels for how much they have helped him throughout his career. Though he is now starring in a new team with Ethan Page, Sky credits SCU will taking him to new heights.
“I just wanna thank those two guys for all the help they’ve given me in my career, helping take me to the next level,” said Sky. “And hey, ‘Worst Town’ no more. Sad days, man.”

SCU will be remembered as one of the most successful groups in recent wrestling history. Kazarian and Sky were the first AEW World Tag Team Champions, and the team of Daniels and Kazarian won five tag team championships between Ring of Honor, TNA/IMPACT Wrestling, and DDT-Pro Wrestling. (Sky and Kazarian also held the ROH World Tag Team Championship together. The trio also held the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship once.)
