Zelina Vega is back at the WWE Performance Center this week, leading to speculation about her future with the company.
According to a new report from Fightful Select, Zelina Vega (aka Thea Trinidad) was at the WWE PC on Thursday and it wasn’t just a visit. It was noted in the report that she was being filmed for something on location, but it wasn’t clear what the project was.
Vega was released in November after she refused to comply with third-party policies implemented by WWE. Fightful was told that the “working plan” right now is for her to return to the company, but no other details could be confirmed as to the context of today’s visit.
Vega opened an OnlyFans account for cosplay photos (no nudity) last year, which was seen as a violation of WWE’s new third-party policies carried out last fall. Sports Illustrated later reported that this was the reason for WWE terminating Vega’s contract, with the company later confirming they fired her for breach of contract. At the time of her release, Vega said that she supported unions, and later spoke with SAG-AFTRA about her situation.
Vega also confirmed in a separate Twitch stream that she was not done wrestling and would continue in the future, adding that some of her fondest memories were in WWE.
