Darby Allin: I Don’t Need The World Title, The TNT Title Is ‘The Big One’ To Me

Darby Allin’s reign as the AEW TNT Champion is over, as Miro defeated him to win the gold on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

In a promo for the live fans, Allin explained that the title meant everything to him, and he vowed to win it back. He also stated that, to him, the TNT Championship is “the big one,” and it’s the only championship belt that truly matters to him.

“When I became TNT Champion, I told everybody it was the only championship that meant anything to me,” said Allin. “And I mean that 100%. People ask me, ‘When you gonna win the big one? When you gonna win the AEW Heavyweight Championship?’ And I look them dead in the eye and said, ‘I don’t need that s—, I need the TNT Championship.’

“I don’t need a cut at any of the other belts anywhere else in this word. I need the TNT Championship, and I guarantee you, every single one of you here, this is not the last time I am TNT Champion. Thank you for the support, it means the world to me.”
