For most of tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Jimmy Uso deliberated whether he was willing to acknowledge WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and side with his family. By the end of the night, he was still indecisive, but he still tried to defend his brother, Jey from Cesaro.
In the closing segment on Friday night, Reigns and Jey came out to the ring the betrayal that “The Tribal Chief” felt over Jimmy’s failure to immediately side with him. Jimmy promptly made his way to the ring and attempted to explain his case to his brother

He recapped how Reigns had to choke him out in order to get Jey to quit at WWE Hell in a Cell. Jimmy claimed that it might be hard to hear, but he never would have quit if he were in his brother’s position.

Reigns shot back by telling Jimmy stop living in the past. He then gave Jimmy an ultimatum — fall in line and acknowledge him, or go home. To Jey’s surprise, Jimmy then left the ring and prepared to head to the back. Jey chased him down and tried to talk his brother out of his decision. In that time, though, Cesaro ambushed Reigns by sliding into the ring and beating him down.

Jimmy tried to hold Jey back as Cesaro assaulted Reigns, but he eventually got free and entered the ring. Cesaro quickly dispatched Jey as well, forcing Jimmy to get involved. He tried to save his brother, but Cesaro dropped him with a nasty Swiss uppercut. Cesaro then hit both Usos and Reigns with the Neutralizer to end the night standing tall.
