Mansoor Signs With RAW, Loses His 49-Match Winning Streak

Mansoor has established himself as one of the premier stars of 205 Live, and now he’s finally ready to take the next steps in his wrestling journey.

During tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Adam Pearce and Mansoor were seen backstage finalizing a contract that will bring the Saudi Arabian Superstar to the red brand. But WWE United States Champion Sheamus ruined the joyful moment by bragging about his reign. Mansoor attempted to introduce himself after Sheamus mistook him for an intern. In response, “The Celtic Warrior” dared Mansoor to accept his open challenge, and the newcomer accepted.

Mansoor attempted to introduce himself, but Sheamus didn’t seem too interested, but did say that he would love to see Mansoor accept his open challenge. Sheamus was quick to note that the match wouldn’t be for the WWE United States Championship, but that he’d love to give Mansoor a Brogue Kick to the head to help the WWE Universe get to know him.

Unfortunately for Mansoor, his major success in 205 Live didn’t translate to RAW immediately. Against Sheamus, the young superstar was taught a harsh lesson by the Celtic Warrior. In their match, Sheamus dominated the newcomer by knocking him around the ring and over the barricade for a seemingly easy victory.

But Mansoor managed to claw his way back into the ring and even land some big moves on the United States Champion. Sheamus didn’t come to lose though, and he countered a tornado DDT by tangling Mansoor up in the turnbuckles. Before he could do anything, though, Humberto Carrillo came running into the ring. He attacked Sheamus and ended the match. Sheamus shrugged off the assault, though, and he dropped Carrillo and Mansoor with Brogue Kicks to end the night standing tall.
