Backstage, Megan asks Big E if he’s going to change his strategy against Apollo Crews. Big E says tonight it all comes to an end. Big E is going to get his baby back tonight. Big E promises to become a three-time Intercontinental Champion.

Crews goes behind Big E. Big E flings Crews down to the mat. After another lock-up, Big E hip tosses Crews. Crews and Big E do a tackle/leapfrog spot that leads to Big E locks Crews in an abdominal stretch. Big E clubs Crews in the chest. Big E hits a splash on the apron for a near fall. Crews surprises Big E with the stun gun. Crews slams Big E on the announce desk. After the break, Big E fires up but walks into a boot by Crews. Big E kicks out.
Crews splashes Big E in the corner. Crews tries another but ends up eating a uranage suplex. Crews kicks out. Crews ends up on the apron. Big E tries a spear but Crews gets a knee up. Crews lands a DVD on the apron. Crews lands a frog splash. Big E kicks out. Crews tries the Olympic slam but Big E escapes. Big E hits the Big Ending. Azeez pulls Big E out of the ring as he is pinning Crews. Azeez sends Big E into the ring post to cause a disqualification.

After the match Azeez attack Big E. Kevin Owens hits the ring and attacks Azeez. Sami Zayn appears out of nowhere and drops Owens with a Helluva Kick. Zayn picks up the IC Title and glares at it a bit too long. Zayn gives Crews his title back. Azeez floors Zayn with the Nigerian Nail.
From the set of Miz and Mrs, The Miz says no one on SmackDown can beat Reigns, including Daniel Bryan.
Backstage, Cesaro accepts Seth Rollins’ challenge. Cesaro picks Bryan to win tonight.
Backstage, Reigns is putting on his gloves.
Backstage, Paul Heyman notes all of Bryan’s accomplishments while saying “yes, yes!” between each. Heyman says everyone is sitting at home saying tonight is Bryan’s night, yes, yes. Will Bryan win? No, no, no.
