Brian Myers Beats Injured Matt Cardona At IMPACT Rebellion

The Major Bros are no more.

In the culmination of a bitter rivalry, Matt Cardona faced his former tag team partner, Brian Myers  at IMPACT Rebellion. Despite the history the two men share, they had only clashed once before on television.

Cardona’s career in IMPACT Wrestling has been largely tied to this feud with Myers, as tensions between the two have been building for months.

The match quickly descended into a brawl that spilled out of the ring. Myers drove Cardona into the steel railing, and the former WWE Intercontinental Champion hit Myers with Radio Silence on the unforgiving ramp.

A vicious Spear at ringside gave Myers some momentum, but Cardona planted his opponent with the Hot Mess (Unprettier) for a near fall. Myers then countered Radio Silence, and Cardona’s knee buckled on the impact.

The referee waved for medical help, and several officials tended to Cardona. Myers helped Cardona to his feet, but the gesture was a ruse. He drilled his former friend with two Roster Cut clotheslines for the win.
