Tonight’s first night of WrestleMania 37 saw a Tag Team Turmoil Match take place, and in a stunning victory, Natalya & Tamina Snuka came away as winners.

In a match that also featured Carmella & Billie Kay, Lana & Naomi, the Riott Squad, and Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke, it was Natalya and Snuka that did enough to win. The match itself operated similarly to a Gauntlet match, with various teams entering one after another. The full list of preliminary matches were as follows:

Eventually, it was down to just Natalya & Snuka taking on the Riott Squad. Despite looking primed to win, Natalya and Snuka’s strength was simply too much for the Riott Squad to overcome. Late in the match, Natalya went to lock the Sharpshooter onto Ruby Riott, but stopped to let Tamina land the Superfly Splash on her for the win instead. Now, the duo will take on Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax tomorrow night for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
