Reported Plan Discussed For Becky Lynch’s Return To WWE (Potential Spoiler)

Becky Lynch‘s return is on everyone’s mind and if this plan comes to fruition, it could happen sooner than you were expecting.

According to this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lynch’s return had been planned at one point as taking place at one of the two nights of WrestleMania 37 shows for a segment involving Bayley.

It was not explicitly stated if these plans are still in place, but it was explained that “at one point” Lynch’s return would coincide with driving a big truck in to interrupt a Bayley talk show segment. It was noted that this would also explain why Bayley isn’t booked for WrestleMania 37 yet, despite having a banner year on SmackDown as Women’s Champion.

The full quote is below:

If they add a Bayley talk segment to Mania, that would likely be Lynch’s return as the idea of her driving a big truck in at one of the two Mania shows during a Bayley talk show segment is something we were told was being planned at one point. That also explains Bayley seemingly not booked for the show after a year when she was women’s MVP

Some fans might recall Lynch has already used a truck on WWE TV before, arriving at the WWE Performance Center on March 30, 2020 for RAW in a 18-wheeler emblazoned with custom paint job. PWInsider.com also reported at the time that the truck was original set to be used during Becky’s WrestleMania 36 entrance and featured at Axxess last year.

WWE President Nick Khan recently told Colin Cowherd that both Lynch and Ronda Rousey would be returning to the company in the “not too distant future.” As for Bayley not being on the show of shows this year, she recently told Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT that she doesn’t have an answer for the questionable lack of a role at WrestleMania, but isn’t sure she would spill the beans even if there was something to tell anyone.
