Allie Kat is ready for another Night Out, and a chance to do some more hot girl shit this weekend.
Allie Kat spoke with WrestleZone ahead of this weekend’s WrestleMania week festivities in Tampa, including her appearance at Title Match Wrestling’s Ladies Night Out event and booking her own show, Allie Kat’s Real Hot Girl Shit. The latter event is part of GCW’s The Collective, and while it’s the second time Allie has booked an event under the RHGS name, she feels more pressure to come through because of fans returning.
“This is my second time doing it. I talked to all of the girls and booked all of the matches. We have a graphics guy, but when I did it the first time it was for [GCW’s 24-hour fundraising stream in January] Fight Forever. That was with donations but now fans are involved, ticket sales are involved, so now I feel like it’s very stressful and I want my show to do very well. I want to continue doing this and prove that women can run shows,” Allie explained, “women’s wrestling draws and it’s good. So I’m excited to do my show and then go to another all-women’s show [Ladies Night Out] later that night.”
When asked if having fans back for the second event changed how she approached it this time, Allie said the idea has been in mind for awhile but budgeting does create some issues now.
“Right when everything shut down a year ago, and it started to come back in June, it’s just been weird from the get-go. I’ve been doing shows since June, and when you go from wrestling in front of hundreds of people to one hundred people it’s very weird and you have to worry about money a lot more now. Everyone still needs to get paid and pay for the venue, for the ring, so yeah it’s very weird budgeting in these times, but it’s worth it.”
After she hosts her own event, Allie Kat faces Jordynne Grace at Title Match Wrestling’s Ladies Night Out: Midnight In Tampa event. While she has faced Grace several times in her career, the last encounter was almost two years ago now. She says facing Grace helped her improve her skill set each time, and she’s excited for Jordynne to see how much she’s improved since then.
“The last time I think we wrestled was two years ago, I think. It was, for awhile, I was wrestling her a bunch and it was great. I learned a lot and my game—I leveled up every time I wrestled her. I’m excited for her to see me two years later,” Allie noted, “and hopefully be proud of me.”
Allie Kat and Jordynne Grace’s last singles match was at IWTV’s Midwest Mixtape in 2019, but they have shared the ring one other time since then, albeit briefly. Allie and Jordynne were part of a four-way match at GoPro Wrestling’s Go Big Or Go Home in September of that year, but Allie ultimately got injured early on in the bout.
Joking that she didn’t want to count that one, Allie says that match came at such a crazy time because it was just days before AEW Dynamite debuted on TNT. She says she was excited to share the ring with them and hopes she gets another chance to face them soon, noting that she needs redemption after the injury took her out of that match.
