This is no April Fools’ prank — Chris Jericho is coming back to WWE TV.
Jericho has been confirmed as the next guest on Broken Skull Sessions with Steve Austin, revealed in a trailer released this afternoon.
On Thursday, WWE posted a teaser that featured the countdown portion of Jericho’s WWE intro. Some fans believed it was part of an elaborate April Fools Day prank, but the initial message said it was counting down to something that would be revealed in 24 hours’ time. The announcement video went live at noon EST on Friday afternoon revealing Jericho as Austin’s latest guest, and the show will premiere next Sunday, April 11 on Peacock and WWE Network.

He was a surprise entrant in the battle royal at the WWE Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia on April 27, 2018. Since then, he’s made occasional appearances in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and has been a headlining performer for All Elite Wrestling.
