On RAW Talk two weeks ago, Royce laid down a challenge to WWE RAW Women’s Champion Asuka. “I’m not here to hide my talents,” said Royce. “In fact, my talents are hidden behind the opinion of others. But why not just let me go, just let me go and see what happens.”

Tonight, she got that challenge via a non-title match and found out she wasn’t ready for Asuka. However, Royce did manage to put in a good showing for herself as she went back-and-forth with the champ. Royce started getting upset with the referee after failing to put Asuka away, which led to Asuka sinking in an armbar that was then transitioned into the Asuka Lock.

Royce simply didn’t have the experience necessary to put herself in the title picture.
