Danny Burch, one-half of the NXT Tag Team Champions, is reportedly be sidelined with an injury.
PWInsider reported that, after Wednesday night’s episode of NXT, a few rumors suggested that Burch separated his right shoulder. Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer later confirmed the news.
During the main event of NXT Burch and Oney Lorcan defended the titles against NXT Champion Finn Balor and Karrion Kross. At one point in the match, Burch landed awkwardly during a suplex from Kross. Burch then left the match so medical personnel could take care of him.
Lorcan ultimately secured the victory, but it’s unclear what the future holds for the NXT Tag Team Champions. As of this writing, WWE has not commented on Burch’s injury.
