Report: WrestleMania 37 Attendance Capped At 25,000 Fans Per Night

Fans will be able to purchase their tickets to WrestleMania 37 on Friday, March 19. Both the Tampa Bay Times’ Eduardo A. Encina and Spectrum Sports’ Jon Alba have confirmed that the event’s attendance will be limited to 25,000 fans on each night of the event.

Encina notes that this number is 36% of the usual capacity (70,000 seats) at Raymond James Stadium. This number is comparable to the attendance of Super Bowl LV in February, where the NFL filled 38% of Raymond James Stadium’s capacity.

He also describes various health and safety protocols that will be enforced at the event, such as seating pods and mandatory masks.

.”Health and safety protocols at WrestleMania will include seating pods, social distancing, masks required, temperature checks, health screenings, cashless concessions and mobile ticketing,” wrote Encina.

WWE had previously targeted holding 45,000 fans for both nights of WrestleMania, but the company later reconsidered this number due to the health and safety concerns linked to COVID-19.
