TJP had been doing a great job of defending his X-Division Championship over the past couple of weeks, but during tonight’s IMPACT Sacrifice pay-per-view, that came to an end.
In a match against Ace Austin, TJP finally lost the belt he had fought hard to get, in a tough match against another up and coming superstar in IMPACT Wrestling. Things came to an end after Austin was able to somehow survive a kneebar from TJP, breaking out of a submission attempt late before getting hit with a flurry of kicks afterward. However, after back and forth strikes from the superstars, it was Austin that ended things, reversing a crossbody attempt from TJP and hitting a double stomp, which he followed up with a big slam for the win and the championship acquisition.
