Edge Faces Jey Uso Next Week, Winner Becomes Special Enforcer For WWE Fastlane Main Event

Tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown ended with Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns signing the contract for their main event, WWE Universal Championship match at WWE Fastlane. However, next week will determine a huge factor of the match, as Edge and Jey Uso will face off to see who will be a “Special Enforcer” for the match.

Things started with Bryan and Reigns in the ring, and Bryan quickly began antagonizing Reigns, telling him that if he didn’t want to sign the contract, it would say a lot about him. After signing his name quickly, Bryan then said that he was able to do what Reigns couldn’t, and make Jey Uso quit in their match last week. This got Reigns’ attention, and he very quickly – and angrily – signed his name on the contract, solidifying the match. However, Jey Uso was angered by the entire back and forth, and threw the table out of the ring before demanding that he be made a special enforcer for the match to make sure things are on the up and up.

It was then that Edge made his way out to the ring, asking Adam Pearce to give him a match against Jey Uso on next week’s SmackDown to determine who the Special Enforcer actually will be. After it was decided, things turned to chaos in the ring, as Edge and Reigns began to brawl while Bryan and Uso also fought to close out the show.
