Report: WWE Pushing For 45,000 Attendance Per Night At WrestleMania 37

WrestleMania 37 could have a bigger turnout than you might have expected as they are reportedly attempting to host 45,000 fans on each night of the event.

According to this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletterthe city of Tampa met with some local hotel management and informed them that WWE was pushing to host WrestleMania 37 at Raymond James Stadium with a maximum capacity of 75 percent capacity. It was noted that with the stage setup, WrestleMania could normally host 60,000 fans, but the 75 percent cap would now put that figure at 45,000 fans in attendance. It was noted that WWE could announce a number larger than that for PR purposes (as they’ve been speculated to do in the past) but the requested number of fans per night is 45,000 people.

It was also speculated that sales might be minimal in the overseas market due to quarantines in place and how late tickets are being sold, so we could see seats released in waves where they could keep release more based on demand.

Earlier this week, WWE confirmed tickets for WrestleMania 37 will go on sale on Tuesday, March 16. Prices for the event will range from $35 to $2,500 per night.
