WWE RAW Results (3/8/21)

Backstage, Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke say they’re serious about challenging for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. Charlotte Flair says she’s ambitious, and she tells Brooke and Rose to show her what they’ve got on the road to WrestleMania.

In an interview, AJ Styles calls Randy Orton crazy. He says it’s The Fiend’s fault that Orton’s head is twisted. Styles says Orton should be focusing on The Fiend instead. But “The Phenomenal One” vows to win anyway.

Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles 

Orton immediately attacks Styles and punches him a few times. He stomps on Styles’ joints, but Styles dodges an RKO and rolls out of the ring. “The Phenomenal One” lures Orton back into the ring, but “The Viper” strikes with a back elbow. Orton suplexes Styles onto the broadcast table and stares down Omos.

Styles hits a diving forearm smash and gains the upper hand. “The Phenomenal One” targets Orton’s leg and grounds “The Apex Predator.” Styles drills Orton with a right hand to the face and a kick to the head. Orton rallies with a few punches and a clothesline. A powerslam earns Orton a two count.

Orton drops Styles with neckbreaker. “The Viper” blocks the Phenomenal Forearm, and he fights out of the Calf Crusher. A Spike DDT plants Styles on the mat, but Alexa Bliss appears on the screen to distract Orton. She unwinds a jack-in-the-box and says, “Not yet.” She blows out a match, and the ring posts erupt in a blast of flames. Orton vomits black goo again, and Styles hits the Phenomenal Forearm to earn the victory.

Winner: AJ Styles

Bliss laughs at Orton after the match.
