Maria Kanellis Thinks There Should Still Be A Divas Title
Maria Kanellis recently spent some time with DS Shin of Ring The Belle and talked about why she thinks the Divas Championship should still exist. She knows that many fans do not agree with her on this, so she went into detail to explain her reasoning for thinking this.
Maria said, “I think that not having it is an insult, or saying that it’s a bad championship to have. I think it’s an insult to the women that were on the road 300-350 days a year. You know, they barely went home to see their families holding this Divas Championship. I feel like in that aspect there should be, it should be looked at fondly, not like it’s an insult.”
While Maria never actually held this title, she said that it wasn’t actually one of her goals. She said that others including Candice Michelle, Michelle McCool, Mickie James, Beth Phoenix, and Melina were more deserving of the championship.

AEW has filed to trademark “Captain Insano” for use in video games and digital media. The name was used by Paul Wight (Big Show) in The Waterboy (1998). Captain Insano took a phone call from Bobby Boucher (Adam Sandler) asking if he required the services of a waterboy.
The trademark application was filed on March 3. AEW is currently in the middle of producing their first console video game.
