In-Ring Segment: Apollo Crews
Crews is talking with his Nigerian accent. Crews is in the ring with two men in army fatigues. Crews says they are his royal guard. Crews says he is tired of trying to fit in. Every time Big E disrespected him all he could hear is his ancestors being ashamed. Crews says he hears Big E is coming back next week and he is happy. Crews demands a shot at Big E’s Intercontinental Championship.
Backstage, Tamina and Natalya complain to Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce about Belair and Banks getting a tag title shot. Pearce says it is what it is and walks away. Deville says she would have made a different decision.
Backstage, Bryan attacks Uso from behind during an interview.
Steel Cage Match: Daniel Bryan vs. Jey Uso
Reigns and Heyman walk down to the ring to watch the match. Heyman brings Reigns a chair. After the break, Uso sends Bryan into the cage. Uso slams Bryan’s head into the cage. Uso tries to leave through the door but Bryan stops him. Uso picks Bryan up and slams him into the cage again. Uso tries to climb the cage, but Bryan stops him again. Uso crotches Bryan on the top rope. Bryan sends Uso into the cage. Bryan knees Uso in the face. Bryan works over Uso’s arm. Bryan tries to climb the cage but is stopped by Uso. Uso sets Bryan in the tree of woe.
Uso stomps on Bryan’s knee. Uso starts to climb the cage again. Bryan cuts him off. Uso hits a Samoan drop off the top rope. After the break, Bryan is kicking Uso into the cafe while they are on the top rope. Uso pushes Bryan off the top rope. Splash by Uso. Uso goes for the door. Bryan cuts him off again. Uso lands a superkick. Bryan kicks out. Bryan rolls up Uso. Uso kicks out but Bryan rolls Uso over and lays in a vicious flurry of elbow strikes. Bryan almost locks in the Yes Lock but Uso escapes.
Uso climbs the cage again. Bryan manages to stop him. Bryan almost makes it over but Uso pulls him back. Bryan hits a flying armbar off the top. Bryan transitions into the Yes Lock. Uso gets to the ropes but since there is no DQ it doesn’t matter. Bryan cracks back even further. Uso taps out.
