Sonya Deville Expects To Eventually Return To The Ring, WWE’s The Bump Celebrates Women’s History Month

Sonya Deville Expects To Return To The Ring At Some Point

Since Sonya Deville returned to WWE, she has taken on a new role as an assistant to WWE official Adam Pearce. Her last WWE match came at the SummerSlam 2020 pay-per-view, where she lost to Mandy Rose. In a recent appearance on WWE’s The Bump, Deville stated that she’s uncertain about her in-ring return but she believes she’ll step back into the ring at some point.

“I don’t know right now,” said Deville. “I like rocking my suits, my three-piece suits every week and calling the shots. I think being in charge is something that kind of comes natural to me. I think I’m a born leader, so I like this new role. But you know, I’m Sonya Deville, and I’m a fighter at the end of the day. I like to kick ass and, I’m sure everything will come full circle eventually.”

Deville stepped away from WWE for a few months after her loss at SummerSlam, but she came back in January.
