After the introduction of IMPACT’s newest program, Before The Impact, the company is reportedly putting Xplosion on the backburner.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Xplosion is on an “extended hiatus” because the company will use BTI as its complementary program.
Xplosion has been IMPACT’s longest running secondary show, dating back to its TNA years. It premiered on November 27, 2002, and it has served as a highlight show and a platform for original matches. Recently, it has been airing on IMPACT Plus, the company’s exclusive streaming service, and it has also been broadcast on IMPACT Wrestling’s Twitch channel.
