John Morrison is rooting for The Miz ahead of his first WWE Championship defense. The Mizh won the title at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view when he cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Drew McIntyre.
In a post on his personal Twitter page, Morrison shared an emotional message in which he showed his support for his friend and tag team partner.
“Congrats to WWE champion @MiketheMiz,” wrote Morrison. “…He worked his way to the top with discipline and an unwavering belief in himself. He was never supposed to be WWE Champion. He wasn’t even supposed to last 1 year in WWE…he’s won the WWE Championship twice because he doesn’t care what critics think or say about him. He knows how to win.”
