WWE NXT Results (2/17/21)

Tyler Rust w/ Malcolm Bivens vs. Kushida

Rust and Kushida trade submission holds. Rust slams Kushida by his arm. Kushida and Rust trade arm submissions. Kushida uses the ropes to escape a hammerlock by Rust. Kushida gets a near fall after a prawn hold. Rust decks Kushida. Kushida snaps Rust’s arm on the top rope. Kushida goes up top only to be tripped off his perch by Rust. Kushida rolls out of the ring to stop Rust’s momentum.

After the break, Kushida drops his body weight on Rust’s arm. Kushida tries the Hoverboard Lock. Rust avoids it. Rust lands a chicken wing suplex. Rust lands a modified ax kick for a near fall. after a series of counter Rust locks Kushida in a sleeper. Kushida tries to escape but Rust turns it into a weird octopus hold. Kushida counters and locks in the Hoverboard Lock. Bivens gets on the apron and waves it off. The referee calls for the bell and declares Kushida the winner.

Winner- Kushida

After the match, Bivens says he has to protect his investment and his investment is Rust.
