It seems very unlikely that wrestling fans will ever see CM Punk and Stone Cold face off inside a wrestling ring, but that didn’t stop them from recently exchanging tweets about how that dream match would go.
A fan recently reached out to Punk on Twitter asking him if that match would be one of the greatest of all time. Punk responded by saying that match would have been so short, he would have hit a GTS after the opening bell and then got the pinfall victory.
It didn’t take long for Stone Cold to catch wind of the tweet, as he quickly made his response by saying, “I see. @CMPunk You did say that. Damn. Complete delusion. I had us at a 60 minute time limit match at the Rosemont Horizon. Right there in Chicago. Chi Town. The Windy City. Helluva match. Caught you with a Stunner at 59:56. You did not kick out. Bottom line.”
