Gargano gets upset when he is told he is going to have to defend the title. Gargano says he’s going to get the interviewer fired. Gargano tries to barge into Regal’s office but Kushida answers the door. Kushida tells Gargano to come back later because Regal is busy. Gargano attacks Kushida. Kushida fires back and knocks Gargano into the next room. Kushida punt kicks Gargano’s arm.
Jessi Kamea w/Aliyah and Robert Stone vs. Toni Storm
As Storm and Kamea are fighting, Mercedes Martinez hits the ring and gets in Storm’s face. Kamea tries to push Martinez out of the way but Martinez decks her causing a disqualification.
Winner- Jessi Kamea
Storm and Martinez brawl. Io Shirai calmly walks down to the ring and sits on the top turnbuckle to watch the fight. Storm land as headbutt that causes both women to end up outside the ring. Shirai flattens Martinez and Storm with a moonsault.
Backstage, Curt Stallion says tonight is the biggest match of his life.
NXT Cruiserweight Championship Match: Santos Escobar (c) w/Legado del Fantasma vs. Curt Stallion
Escobar lands a flurry of strikes. Dropkick by Escobar. Escobar locks Stallion in a seated hammerlock. Scarlett is shown in the crowd on a platform watching the match. Stallion fires up but is quickly cut off by a backbreaker by Escobar. Stallion sends Escobar to the outside area, Escobar glares at Scarlett in the crowd. After the break, standing muscle buster by Escobar. Escobar continues his assault. Stallion fires up and lands a few strikes. Escobar tries to run away but Stallion catches him with a suicide dive. Stallion stomps on Escobar’s feet and pulls him to the standing position. Escobar immediately hits a DDT, countering whatever Stallion had in mind. Escobar hits the Phantom Driver followed by Legado for the win.

As Escobar celebrates in the ring, Karrion Kross walks down the ramp. Mendoza and Wilde try to cut him off. Kross launches both Wilde and Mendoza into the barricade. Kross gets in the ring and gets in Escobar’s face. Kross tells Escobar that it seems they have an ever-growing problem. Kross is going to give Escobar the gift of time. Kross tells Escobar to run along. Tick Tock.
As Edge is leaving the arena Kross cuts him off. Kross tells Edge that if he picks the NXT Championship it’s not going to be Dunne or Bálor he faces. It’s going to be Kross. Edge says words like that could actually motivate him to come back to NXT.
Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic: The Undisputed Era vs. Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher
Ciampa and Cole trade moves. Ciampa slows down Cole with a side headlock. Thatcher and Strong tag in and trade submission attempts. Thatcher and Strong trade strikes. Strong knocks Thatcher into his corner. Thatcher fights out of the corner and tags in Ciampa. Ciampa and Thatcher work over Strong, with quick tags and nasty offense. This leads to a standoff between all four men. A brawl breaks out. After the break, Ciampa and Thatcher have cut the ring and half and are taking turns working over Strong. Strong manages to reverse Thatcher into a superplex. Both men tag out. Cole hits the ring and takes everyone out. Backstabber by Cole. Cole blasts Ciampa with an enziguri. Thatcher pulls cole out of the ring while he is setting up the Last Shot. Strong suplexes Thatcher onto the barricade. As Strong is trying to get back in the ring, Ciampa hits Willow’s bell for the win.
Winners- Tommaso Ciampa vs. Timothy Thatcher
After the match, Regal and Grizzled Young Veterans walk out of the stage. Thatcher and Ciampa get into a fight with Drake and Gibson.
