Matt Hardy Wants Private Party To ‘Be The Second Greatest Tag Team In History’

Matt Hardy and Private Party once again made another appearance at IMPACT Wrestling, with Hardy yet again confirming his hopes for the duo to become one of the two best tag teams in wrestling.

“Who takes care of you?” Hardy asked his clients Private Party. “Don’t worry about those guys. You guys have a guaranteed title shot at No Surrender. Nothing is going to change that. Besides, I’ve got a plan. ‘Big Money Matt,’ the ‘Kingmaker,’ always has a plan. Tomorrow night is the tag team battle royal at AEW Dynamite. I need you to win that. You can go on to face the Young Bucks at Revolution. A dream match! You’ve already beat them and you will also beat the other team in the ‘Biz Cliz,’ the Good Brothers. You’re going to get two sets of titles.

“You know what, I’m going to put a bounty on those titles! … That’s not what I said. Tony Khan wouldn’t approve of the use of the word bounty, it’s a bonus. I’m gonna make sure to get you a bonus. Once you win the titles, you’ll make more money because you’re the champions … You guys are going to make millions upon millions … I’ve got everything under control. … I just need you to show up and be the second greatest tag team in history.”
