Sasha Banks continued her heated feud with Carmella at WWE Royal Rumble.
“The Boss” defended the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship against Carmella for the second pay-per-view in a row. In a competitive bout, Carmella had Banks on the ropes a few times. At one point, Carmella hit a suicide dive onto Banks, proving how desperate she was to win. The referee negated the influence of Reginald by ordering him to leave the arena.

Carmella earned a near fall with a superkick. But in the end, Banks made Carmella tap out to the Bank Statement. With the decisive win, Banks should be able to onto other challengers on the blue brand.
