At WWE Royal Kickoff, Charlotte Flair and Asuka defended the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. The champions won the gold by defeating Jax and Baszler at WWE TLC. Flair and Asuka have been wrapped up in their own feuds on WWE RAW, but they joined forces again on Sunday.
Flair and Asuka controlled the match early on, but the challengers gained the upper hand by overpowering Asuka. “The Empress of Tomorrow” rallied and powerbombed Jax. Flair tagged in and cleared house. She floored Baszler with a flurry of offense, and she got a near fall with Natural Selection.

Baszler drilled Flair with a knee strike, but “The Queen” took down both of her opponents. Ric Flair came to the stage, and the distraction let Lacey Evans break up the Figure Eight. She also rocked Flair with a loaded Woman’s Right. Jax then pinned “The Queen” with a leg drop to win the match and the titles.
