Backstage, Sami Zayn runs into Shinsuke Nakamura backstage. Zayn complains that he’s done so much for Nakamura and it’s time for him to return the favor. Nakamura says he appreciates Zayn for what he’s done for him but that a no. Nakamura walks away. Zayn is shocked.
During an interview, Kevin Owens says as far as he’s concerned he’s already beaten Roman Reigns two times already. It doesn’t matter what Reigns or his family members do, Owens will no stay down. Owens will be the last man standing. Heyman steps in and says he will not let Owens disrespect their Trible Chief. Reigns asks Owens what his father was like. Owens says his father is a great man but Reigns needs to be careful what he says next. Reigns says he is trying to understand why Owens doesn’t understand his own limitations.
The only thing Reigns can figure is Owens’ father never taught them to Owens. Reigns says Owens doesn’t have a chance. Owens doesn’t belong. Reigns doesn’t blame Owens, he blames his family. Reigns calls Owens a fool, which means his father and grandfather are fools too. Owens knows what Reigns is trying to do. On Sunday they won’t be in separate rooms. Reigns better watch his words. Reigns says Owens still doesn’t get it. One day when Owens meets his grandfather again, he’ll tell Owens how much of a disappointment Owens is. Owens calls Reigns nothing but a bully. The man Owens is the man his entire family wants him to be. Reigns disconnects from the video chat.
