With the start of the Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic happening during tonight’s episode of NXT, a handful of matches occurred. In them, the Grizzled Young Veterans and Undisputed Era were two of the three teams that advanced to the next round tonight.

Alongside MSK – who debuted tonight and advanced in the tournament – the Grizzled Young Veterans also made their way past Ever-Rise in a dominant showing to kick off the tournament. Grizzled Young Veterans looked slow to start, but very quickly took over, and ended things with a Ticket to Mayhem for the win.

At the end of the night, Undisputed Era faced off against Breezango, and things nearly got chaotic to close out the show. Late in their match, Pete Dunne and his posse came down to the ring and attacked Kyle O’Reilly, who had attacked Dunne earlier in the night in an effort to save Finn Balor.
Balor then made his way down to the ring to intervene, and another brawl broke out. In the ring, Fandango attempted to land a huge splash off of the top rope onto Cole, but Cole managed to get up just in time and deliver a huge superkick to Fandango to knock him out and give Undisputed Era the win.
