The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will take place on NXT and 205 Live.
William Regal made the announcement on a new video posted on WWE social media, noting this year’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic would contest matches on WWE’s 205 Live, in addition to its normal home on NXT.
Currently, 11 teams have been confirmed for the tournament, with 205 Live being represented by the Bollywood Boyz, Ever-Rise, Jake Atlas & Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, and Curt Stallion & August Grey.
The first round of the “Dusty Cup” will start on the January 13 episode of NXT. In addition to winning the tournament trophy, the winners of this year’s tournament will get a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championship, currently held by Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch.
