In-Ring Segment: Finn Bálor

Bálor says O’Reilly proved he deserves to be in the ring with him. Bálor starts to ask for O’Reilly to join him in the ring, but he is cut off by O’Reilly’s music. Bálor tells O’Reilly that he deserves this award, but Bálor doesn’t need it. He has the NXT Championship. O’Reilly says he needs it because it signifies he belongs in the main event. O’Reilly is tired of consolation prizes. The NXT Championship is coming home with him. Bálor says he is going to do everything in his power to hurt O’Reilly. Last they fought, O’Reilly broke his jaw. This time Bálor is going to end O’Reilly.

Scarlett and Karrion Kross walk out on the stage. Scarlett says what’s in the ring belongs to them. It doesn’t matter who wins at New Year’s Evil. Kross says tick-tock. Damian Priest appears behind Kross. Kross asks Priest what he wants. Priest says this is how you step to someone, as a man. Priest and Kross brawl. Priest and Kross fall through the barricade but they keep fighting. Kross tries to Doomsday Saito Priest off a platform through a table. Priest shifts his weight and lands on top of Kross as they fall through the table. Scarlett is sitting on a platform laughing as the carnage unfolds.
