Dakota Kai hasn’t appeared on WWE NXT since her match at NXT TakeOver: WarGames. Last week, the NXT broadcast team announced that Kai is dealing with an injury. But reportedly, that isn’t the reason she has been absent from WWE programming.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has provided an update on the situation. “We’re told that she’s not injured, and instead WWE is working to clear up her visa,” wrote Ross Sapp. “They expect to have her back soon, and she’s expected to continue her UpUpDownDown duties.”
Dakota Kai is one of the top stars in NXT’s renowned women’s division and we won’t have to wait much longer for her return. On Tuesday, NXT announced Kai would face off with Rhea Ripley on this week’s show.
