Johnson keeps trashing the fans and telling the camera to focus on him. “I am an equal opportunity a—whooper,” Johnson says. Danhausen tells him not to swear, but Johnson hits a diving clothesline. Johnson says he’s facing a clown, and he’s sick of the fans thinking they have control. “Tonight, I kill the internet,” Johnson says. He clotheslines Danhausen. A suplex gives Danhausen some breathing room. He rallies and hits a German suplex.

Danhausen gets his jar of teeth, and Johnson blocks it. Danhausen hits a Go to Sleep, but Johnson reaches the ropes. Johnson takes the jar of teeth and feeds them to Danhausen. He accidentally spits them into the referee’s eyes. The referee is blinded, so he can’t count a pin for Johnson. He yells at the official, but Danhausen pretends Johnson hit him with a microphone. The referee falls for it, and Danhausen wins via disqualification.

Winner and recipient of a ROH contract: Danhausen

Colin: Solid storytelling here. Johnson has been a breakout star every time he’s been on TV since “The Restart” for ROH. Danhausen is such a unique character. He could be a great asset for ROH, as they can use all the individuality they can get. Both Johnson and Danhausen shined here.

ROH World Television Championship: Dragon Lee (c) vs. Tony Deppen

Lee flips Deppen off to open the match. The competitors feel each other out with technical holds. Deppen gets a one count on a roll-up, and a two count on a backslide. A dropkick rocks Deppen. Lee dives onto Deppen and does sit-ups at ringside. A diving double stomp earns Deppen a two count. Deppen hits a springboard dropkick and dives onto him outside the ring. Another springboard dropkick earns him another two count. Lee fires back with a dropkick of his own. Lee chops Deppen in the chest. Deppe slaps Lee a few times and fires up.

Lee hits a snap German and a moonsault Northern Lights suplex. Deppen and Lee trade blows. Deppen trips Lee and sends him face-first into the turnbuckle. Lee hits a Double Stomp for a two count. He drills Deppen with an elbow to the head. Deppen hits a pump knee for a near fall. Another knee rocks Lee. Lee hits one of his own, a Poisonrana and another knee for a near fall. A running knee, which Riccaboni dubs “Incineration,” earns Lee the win.

Winner and still ROH World TV Champion: Dragon Lee

Colin: Given Lee’s uncertain contract status, this could have been a good time for a title change in an upset win. Instead, Lee retained, so he might be sticking around. Deppen held his own with one of the best wrestlers on the ROH roster. With a strong performance, he should have a future in ROH if the company and Deppen are interested in working together.

Jay Briscoe vs. Shane Taylor

The competitors feel each other out. They exchange stiff blows. Taylor covers up to defend himself. Taylor drills Briscoe with a forearm. The two men brawl at ringside. Taylor throws Briscoe into the barricade. Taylor rocks Briscoe with another strike. Briscoe drops Taylor with a big boot. A dropkick in the ring takes Taylor off his feet. Two more forearms rock Briscoe and practically knock him out. Briscoe tries to rally with some strikes of his own, and he plants the big man with a Spicolli Driver. Mark Briscoe comes to the ringside area to cheer on his brother.

Jay tries to choke Taylor out with a sleeper hold, but Taylor reaches the ropes. Taylor counters a Jay Driller, but Jay drops him with a clothesline. Taylor floors Briscoe with a headbutt and a Marcus Garvey driver for a two count. He hits Welcome to the Land for the win.

Winner: Shane Taylor

Taylor looks at the camera to address RUSH. “I’ve got next,” Taylor says.

Colin: Taylor continues to shine. He’s been on a roll since the ROH Restart. He missed out on facing RUSH tonight, but with a win over a former world champion, you have to think he’ll get a shot sooner rather than later. This match wasn’t about pure wrestling; it was a fight. ROH offers the “buffet” fans always hear about, and a slugfest like this demonstrates that fact.
