Kenny Omega Wants His Second Match With Jon Moxley To Be A Great Chapter, Not The Whole Story

Kenny Omega recently spoke with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated and discussed his upcoming AEW World Championship match with Jon Moxley. In the interview, Omega emphasized that he hopes this match won’t be the end of their in-ring rivalry. “‘I don’t want to write an entire book in one match, but I hope this is a great chapter,'” said Omega via Barrasso.

At the same time, Omega said that he wants to deliver an outstanding match on AEW Dynamite’s Winer Is Coming special. “‘My goal is to put a pay per view caliber match on TV next week,’” said Omega via Barrasso. He was also quick to point out that he wants another pay-per-view match with Moxley down the road. “‘There probably is going to be an Omega-Moxley III somewhere down the road,'” said Omega via Barrasso.

With such an extensive story heading into this match, Omega said it offers a chance to lean on his other matches with Moxley. “‘I would love for this story to lend itself to the other chapters in the series,'” said Omega via Barrasso.

Omega will challenge Moxley for the AEW World Championship at AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming. WrestleZone will have extensive coverage of the show when it airs on December 2.
