This week on WWE RAW, The New Day defended the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship against Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin of The Hurt Business. The winners will face The Street Profits on Sunday at WWE Survivor Series. Before the match, both teams vowed to represent WWE RAW at the pay-per-view because they’re “the best of the best.” Early on, Kofi Kingston and Cedric Alexander traded some fast-paced offense.

The New Day gained the upper hand with some teamwork, but Woods and Benjamin grounded Xavier Woods. Later on, Kingston rallied with a flurry of offense, but Benjamin slowed him down with a buckle bomb. Alexander nearly won the match with a Doomsday Device-like maneuver. The Hurt Business continued to control the match, and both teams kept going back and forth in a highly competitive match. In the end, Woods pinned Alexander for the win, so The New Day retained the titles.
