Alberto Del Rio Denies Paige’s Claims Of Abuse, Alleges He’s The Real Victim

Alberto Del Rio is vehemently denying new allegations he regularly physically abused Paige when they were dating, claiming it was the other way around and she was the one that was abusive towards him.

Last week, Paige appeared on GAW TV and discussed her relationship with the former WWE star, who she referred to as “Voldemort” and said would routinely abuse her. Alberto gave a new statement to TMZ about her allegations, denying her claims as well as stating he’s the real victim.

“It was the other way around. I have the evidence. Not just words.”

“I would say Raya, why? Why? Why are you doing this Raya? And, I’m not calling you Paige because you were never Paige to me, you were Raya. Why would you hurt me in a moment like this?”

Paige referenced the “obvious” abusive situation she was in during the appearance on GAW, noting that she now feels more comfortable speaking about what she went through and says she was worried about being blamed for what happened back then.

According to Alberto, he is considering suing Paige for defamation; TMZ reached out to her multiple times for comment and did not receive a response.

Alberto (real name Jose Rodriguez Chucuan) was indicted by a grand jury in San Antonio, TX last month on five charges that include four counts of sexual assault and one kidnapping charge. Del Rio was arrested back in May of this year when his victim went to the local authorities after claiming that he physically assaulted her for hours after she allegedly would not admit to infidelity.
