Thunder Rosa is the talk of the wrestling world despite not currently appearing on any major show. The immensely talented female star recently lost her NWA Women’s Title on AEW TV, and rumors have swirled about her next destination. In an excerpt of an interview between Rosa and DNC Digital from Instagram Live, the former champion talks about her continued popularity and the importance of her projects outside of the bright lights:
On the current fan interest due to her contract status:
“[Fans are] interested in me. They’re interested in what I bring. They’re interested in what I have to say and they see the passion I bring to the table. That’s what I always say.”
On the importance of her side projects:
“It’s my livelihood. If it wasn’t, you guys wouldn’t see me wrestle as often. Let’s be real. The only place now I’m wrestling at is Mission Pro Wrestling and I’m going to make sure that the name is out there and that other women are getting that opportunity too.”
