In-Ring Segment: Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman
As Heyman and Reigns make their way to the ring, the camera pans to reveal a dejected Jey Uso standing in the ring waiting for them. Heyman tries to speak but Jey rips the mic out of his hands. Jey yells that Reigns didn’t beat him. Reigns says Jey can make any excuses that he wants. Reigns said he would make Jey quit and he did. Reigns demands that Jey take the oath and accept the membership. Jey needs to fall in line. Jey said Reigns has been doing this since they were kids. Jey doesn’t ride with or respect Reigns. The title’s got Reigns’ tripping. Jey says Reigns used the only person Jey would quit for against him. Reigns says the entire family is behind him. Reigns reminds Jey that if he doesn’t fall in line he is out of the family. Reigns asks Jey what he’s gonna do? There is nothing Jey can do. Jey cries as he tells Reigns that he hates him. Reigns tells Jey that he loves Jey. No matter what. Reigns promises that by the end of the night Jey will fall in line. Reigns walks away as Jey looks on, with the fire of 1000 exploding suns burning in his eyes.
SmackDown Survivor Series Men’s Team Qualifying Match: Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler w/Robert Roode
Owens locks Ziggler in a side headlock. Ziggler sends Owens into the ropes. Owens runs over Ziggler with a shoulder block. Ziggler rolls out of the ring. Owens follows but Ziggler immediately rolls back in the ring. As Owens tries to get back in the ring, Ziggler puts the boots to him. Ziggler lands a few rights in the corner. Owens tries to fire back but Ziggler kicks him in the gut. Ziggler hits the ropes and Owens surprises him with a back elbow. Ziggler kicks Owens in the knee. Ziggler tries the ZigZag but Owens hooks the ropes. Ziggler sends Owens out of the ring. Ziggler fakes and injury which allows Roode to attack Owens. The referee catches Roode tossing Owens back. into the ring. The referee kicks Roode out of the ringside area.
After the break, Ziggler continues his assault. Owens manages to land an inverted atomic drop. Owens flattens Ziggler with a senton. Spinout air raid crash by Owens. Ziggler kicks out. Owens tries a senton off the top but Ziggler gets his knees up. Ziggler goes for a pin but Owens kicks out at two. Ziggler calls for a Superkick but Owens counters with a superkick of his own. Owens tries the Pop-Up Powerbomb but Ziggler reverses it into a fameasser. Owens kicks out. Ziggler misses another Superkick. Ziggler ducks a Stunner. Owens and Ziggler trade pin attempts. Neither man can get a three count. Owens hits the Stunner for the win.
