Timothy Thatcher is in the ring for a live edition of Thatch-as-Thatch-can. Thatcher gets the name of his student wrong as he locks in him in a cravat. “Alex” (Andrew) taps out immediately. Thatcher tells Alex to show some aggression. Alex tries to go for Thatcher’s leg. Thatcher rolls Alex into a double wrist lock. Alex taps but Thatcher doesn’t release the hold. Thatcher wrenches all the way back and almost breaks Alex’s arm. Thatcher eventually let’s go. Alex gets upset. Thatcher says Alex will never be able to take his leg. Alex does and locks in a front face lock. Thatcher asks for a referee. Before the referee rings, the bell Thatcher punches Alex in the face. Thatcher puts Alex in a nasty single leg crab. Alex taps. Thatcher kicks Alex out of the ring.
NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Breezango (c) vs. Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan
Lorcan and Fandango lock up. Fandango puts Lorcan in a side headlock. Lorcan sends Fandango into the ropes. Lorcan tries an arm drag but Fandango turns it into another headlock. Fandango tries a sunset flip out of the corner but Lorcan reverses it into a single leg crab. Fandango gets to the ropes. Fandango tags in Burch, who floors Fandango with a European uppercut. Breeze tags in and hits a suplex on Burch. Fandango and Breeze work over Burch in their corner. Burch falls to the outside area. Breeze follows. Burch launches Breeze into the barricade. Breeze slams Burch’s knee into the ring post. After the break, Burch and Lorcan are double-teaming Fandango. Fandango surprises Lorcan with a clothesline that turns him inside out. All four men fight to the outside area.
Lorcan tries a dive but Breeze kicks him in the head before he can fly. Burch tosses Breeze over the barricade. Burch gets back in the ring. Fandango hits a falcon arrow followed by a top rope leg drop. Burch kicks out! Breeze gets back in the ring. Lorcan puts Breeze in a single leg crab. Burch adds a crossface. Fandango breaks up the hold. Breeze attacks Burch’s injured knee. Breeze goes up top. Burch cuts Breeze off and hits the Tower of London. Fandango pushes Lorcan into Burch to break up the pin. Breeze and Fandango land double superkicks. While the referee is distracted, someone wearing a mask knocks Fandango off the top. Burch low blows Breeze. Burch and Lorcan hit their finish on Breeze for the win.
Winner and NEW NXT Tag Team Champions, Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch!
The masked man celebrates with the new tag champs in the ring. The masked man takes off his mask. It’s Pat McAfee! McAfee mocks the Undisputed Era as he announces Burch and Lorcan as the new tag champs.
